India's electric vehicle policy is titled Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric and Hybrid vehicles, abbreviated as FAME. This policy, which was originally launched in 2015, underwent a total transformation and was launched as FAME phase II just last month. I recently wrote an opinion piece in Business Line (link below), a leading Indian financial daily. But my claim to FAME is I have been at it since 2004, with one minor difference, I was working on policies towards Fatty Acid Methyl Esters or in popular terms biodiesel.
